When you get your brakes flushed, you are going to have to bring them the brake fluid as I am 99% sure that they won't have anything good enough for track abuse. As far as the tranny stuff goes, my suggestion is doing a search in the forums and if you don't find anything, start a thread abou it.

The 5AT uses only Nissan J-matic fluid, and has warnings in the manual and (I think) in the engine bay against using anything else. Your warranty will be voided if you go to a Dexron 4, synthetic, or whatever.

If you have any feel for suspension settings you will notice additional harshness with stiffer sway bars and bushings. Any changes toward track performance will degrade the ride from stock. Most consider the tradeoff well worth it.

You might also consider flushing your power steering fluid prior to a track event, especially if it has never been changed. My Infiniti dealer here in Dallas (Grubbs) has a flushing agent they've been using and have had good luck with and then replacing the fluid with synthetic.

As for the brake fluid, I went with ATE Super Blue which is what I've been using for years. You can also get the ATE 200 which is the same fluid in a different color (Amber). I picked up 4 liters (2 of each) from raceshopper.com for $9.75/liter. Can't beat that price anywhere and shipping is reasonable.

Sometimes 1 liter will be enough. I had some air in the lines after the flush so I had to keep on flushing until the air was all out and that took some extra fluid.

The G comes with DOT 3, but the brands I mentioned are DOT 4 and are compatible with DOT 3, just don't go DOT 5.

^^+1

ATE or Motul are DOT 4 synthetic with higher boiling points (both wet and dry) than any DOT 3 and any standard DOT 4 fluid. Stay away from DOT 5

I use a synthetic DOT4 as well.

DOT 5 is silicone-based, I believe, and as the others have mentioned, not compatible without a FULL flush.

If you are having someone do the flush for you, you should be good to go. You should note that the service manual for the G35 does advise a specific order for bleeding the brakes of which I don't recall offhand. Something like RR, LF, RF, then LR ... don't quote me on that though.

If you have an '03 or '04 6 MT with Brembo brakes, there are 2 bleed screws for each caliper and it is recommended to do the inside then outside screw.

+1 on everything he said^^^. I don't recall the bleeding order either, but I am pretty sure that its different from the standard rule of "start from the farthest wheel from the master cylinder." which is what any shop would probably automatically start to do.
