anyone have anynews? saw some rolex gt races, but no g35 in sight nor any announcements...........

 

I race in grand am cup gs and have not heard a thing about it. My guess at this point is not to expect them this season.

 

what number is your race car? that way, i can point to the screen and say, "hey, i know that guy!"...hehe..

kinda sucks that not too many on this board are into these race circuits or speed channel touring/gt....etc.....

Supposed to be debuting the G35 Grand Am car this season... I will check with my contact at GarrettSports.

They were supposed to debut at Homestead-Miami, but it looks like that has been pushed back.

 

lets hope someone can push them forward so we can all see the true potential of this car........

 

Spoke with Ian James today. He is going to be driving the G35, and he recently tested the car. I think they are just working out a few odds and ends but the car is almost ready. Its coming!

 

Awesome! I've been waiting to see some Gs in Grand-Am. Let's hope they have a strong debut like the '05 Mustangs.

 

They will be racing in GT, not GS like the mustangs.

 

i would hope the g35 would storm to the front since they wouldn't have any weight penalty or competion adjustments, yet......but then again, testing is one thing, and running in a real race is another......
any further news as when they might be debuting?...

btw; just finished the s/w/c touring.....those audis are fast, especially the standing start..awd is their friend..
GT, well, see what happens when Mr. Bell is NOT driving and Galati is....third for Volvo....

Had tranny problems in qualifying, then got hit by a BMW coming onto the straight and hit the wall at about 110. Sitting at the airport and still kinda out of it.
