If I don't have the generic relay, I don't have to connect the orange wire anywhere, correct?

by the way: can anyone show me what kind of generic relay I can maybe get later down the road? thanks!

No, just leave the wire dangling. Any generic relay will work, you should be able to pick one up at any parts store or even at Radioshack. Look for an automotive 'Bosch' style relay.

got a video of the light flash option installed? how does it funcition. one flash for arm, two flashes for dissarm?

For 'lock' it ends up being one long flash. This is because the OEM system flashes two short flashes. The output just keeps the light on between the flashes.

The 'unlock' is two short flashes.

Just ordered mine the other day. Should be in tomorrow.

I was wondering, this won't void the warranty at all will it?

There are very few connections for this module, so chances of warranty issues are very slim.

The module has current limited inputs so chances of any problems are very, very slim.

To date (over 3 years), we haven't had any warranty issues reported for any module we sell.

when i press lock, my horn still comes on as well as the beep beep from the module.did i do something wrong?

You must disable the horn.

You can do this by holding both the 'lock' and 'unlock' buttons down on the remote for about 5 seconds within range of the car.
