Re: Aluminum Pedal Install Photos/Guide

KenDude...you're the man. Just got my pedals today and installed them...just read over the instructions for a breifing and then didn't need anything but a flathead screwdriver...but you guys weren't kidding...the damn brake and clutch pedals were a f*cking BITCH ! It actually got to the point where I wanted to just burn them so I didn't have to look them anymore...but they finally got on.

Also got my clear corners today (the ones from Strictly Z). I was going to wait for the 'euro clear' ones to come out because I was worried about the ones from Strictly Z / japanparts.com looking too 'white' against my brilliant silver. I'm SO HAPPY with the way they look...they almost match identically to the silver...and I left the OEM clear bulb in instead of the amber...it looks SO SWEET !

I'll post pics as soon as I get them.

SO excited ! I think I spent about 20 minutes looking at her in the parking garage...ok...so I'm psycho...

So you got the pedals from your Infinity dealership? Do you think if I went to my local Infinity dealership I can get them for maybe 80?

I bought them from Grubbs Infiniti in TX. I called the dealership my friend owns and they didn't sell them...so I assume that only select dealerships sell them. You can order from Grubbs online from www.infinitiwholesaleparts.com

Re: Aluminum Pedal Install Photos/Guide

no need to wait for the bushing... you can use your stock accelorator and cut the plastic out and make it fit. I did this with my g35 sedan last year. I personnally am not sure on these pedals for manual driving. The aluminum dont seem to decrease the space between the brake and accelorator(which i have been having my foot slip off on while heel/toeing). Any comments on the size of the aluminum pedal size compared to stock?

Re: Aluminum Pedal Install Photos/Guide

I have a G35c 6MT and installed the set I ordered from Grubbs http://www.infinitiwholesaleparts.com/.
Their kit includes all the parts.
I recommend that you warm the brake and clutch pedals in very hot water.
For these two pedals, I didn't find the screwdriver very helpful. I started at the top edge of the pedals, pushing on the pads as hard as possible and "wiggling" them left and right, up and down.
The screwdriver can be used to free any edges. A light wash of liquid detergent can be used as a lubricant.

An alternative site for G35 pedals is at www.cructhfield.com.
Just use their sites search engine and insert either Ichibahn
or ractive. They also have APC and Toucan lenses and bulbs.

Re: Aluminum Pedal Install Photos/Guide

I got mine from Strictly Z yesterday. They are NIssan parts and fit great. The gas pedal is slightly different than the stock unit-missing a block jutting out from the bottom. Look great...almost like they were suposse to be there

Re: Aluminum Pedal Install Photos/Guide

Anybody know if they make a dead-pedal that has the extra height to it, but is still black (and goes with the other stock pedals)?

Re: Aluminum Pedal Install Photos/Guide

Call Strictly Z and ask them for it. They get and make different variants of the dead pedal and can most likely get you what you are looking for. Don't hate me later though.
