If you can't figure it out from looking at it, then you probably shouldn't be doing it yourself

I havent opened it up to take a look to be honest so I have no idea how complicated/uncomplicated it is... but if they have a DIY for installing clear corners I thought theyd surely have this one covered...

the ballast is not a light bulb, so pixs would help you out!

Removing the ballast and reinstalling them is pretty simple. It's just a pain in the @$$ to remove the whole headlight housing to just write a simple DIY, which is why i'm sure a lot of the lighting guru's here have not done it. Since I have an extra set i'm working on that's not on my car, i took some pictures to show how easy this is.

1) with the headlights removed, turn the headlight upside down and place on a surface that will not scratch your lens. Unscrew the three screws circled in green (I don't have screws showing in there cuz i already took them out) and unplug the harness circled in red.

2) pull the ballast out and unscrew the tiny screw circled in green and unplug the harness circled in red. That little screw can be a PITA to take out.

it should look like this when you're done.

Installation is reverse of removal.

NOTE: There is a rubber o-ring around the ballast that CAN get stuck to the housing or fall out. If it does, just make sure you put it back on before you reinstall it.

Good Luck.
