(medium version)
question is I have the oem spoiler on there now - if I remove this can holes be filled and repainted to look perfect??? my body shop is telling me no, but he hasnt seen the car in person so is prob unaware of hole sizes - if not, I'm going to have a DG trunk lid and spoiler for sale or trade...

Guess I should update this thread for the next - I removed the oem spoiler from my 04 sedan - underneath the spoiler on the left side is
on the right side is
the right side has an additional hole to run the electrical to the 3rd brake light -
there is also 2 holes underneath the mt.fuji emblem -
I had the car at an autobody shop - all holes were tap welded, sanded, painted etc
turned out mint -

BTW, UT sucks and so does that spoilers you're looking at.
If you really want one, I'll sell you my sedan G2 for $60 shipped, but it's in black obsidian. Fitment is really bad and it took a lot of heating and bending just to get the curve of the thing to look even remotely close to the curve of the trunk, let alone getting it to sit flush on the trunk.
I took that off for the Euro spoiler from Grubbs and now I'm going back to no spoiler.

thx u - body shop did blend panels - no thanks on the spoiler - and UT has the worst customer service from any business I've EVER dealt with - there company is a joke ! - I ended up getting the oem M3 spoiler from the BMW dealership - will be installed on thursday and pics will be updated here :

Body shop charged me $800 - included painting the M3 spoiler as well - my other option was to switch trunks with someone, but I didnt want the mt.fuji symbol so I still would have had to get 2 holes welded - painted etc...
