I had the same trouble with my rotors corroded to the spindle as well. We smacked the rotors with a rubber mallet until they came loose. Sucked big time

Great Job...
OH Yeah! SS braided brake lines are included with the AZC BBK. They are hidden by the massive rotors.

The rotors came loose with just a few smacks with a rubber mallet. The hubs took hours of pounding to loosen up. I thought they were gonna be a show-stopper.

I could not picture myself installing the rear Stillen sport slotted rotors, metal matrix pads and SS brake lines after what we went through Saturday! So I got my friendly neighborhod mechanic to do it all for $150.

Great job on the install Cato. Now get off the forums and start driving! We're anxiously waiting for your in-depth review.

I have been grannying the brakes since Saturday. After the Stillen rear slotted rotors went on Monday, I have started to be a little less granny with them. Actually, today at lunch I had a situation to need brakes real quick. I was very impressed with the "For Sure" attitude of these brakes. I also noticed today that the edges of the Wilwoods look like they got clipped by the wheel spokes. So I broke down and ordered the 3 mm wheel spacers.

What's the reason behind grannying the brakes? I thought you need to bed them in by doing some repeated HARD stops from 60-5MPH...

I don't understand why the grannying! Dave at ArizonaZCar told me to simply granny the Wilwoods for awhile, which is what I did for a couple of days. As soon as the Stillens went on the rears Monday, I took her out for some not too hard stops from 50 - 20. I'm breaking them in slowly.

are the stillen rotors lighter than the stock rotors. recently ive been all about reducing rotational mass and broke down and bought 18 pound 18's, so lighter rotors would contribute. i have the stock infiniti brakes, so i was thinking about getting the stillen x/d slotted rotors. what do u guys think?

The slotted rears seem about the same weight as the OEM crappy ones. I don't think there is any weight savings on the rear.

cato, setup looks good. what pads are you using? the bp-10s? they may be advertised as low dust and low noise but i definitely had dust albeit not as bad as stock. they did have very good initial bite though and pedal effort definitely seemed to be reduced.

Dave at AZC sent the street pads with my setup. I don't have a model number on them.
