Had a chance to test for rubbing after my DIY fender roll (packed my car with 3 people in the backseat) and no rubbing whatsoever. Sweet!

I'm sure the methods on that video would work great, if we all spray painted out cars.... LOL!!!!!!! that and I don't speak......... whatever he's speaking.

This is a good thread though, I have a heat gun, and i think I can afford a bat. I'm a fan of the bat because its tapered, you have multipe sizes to apply to create the roll you need.

I'min the midst of doing this but the side closest to the door seems to be quite stiff to move, how far down did you guys go and did you just have patience and take your time with it? Any tips would be helpful. Thanks!

You'd want to roll it between 10 to 2 o'clock give or take.

I did mine today. Took only half hour to do both rear side. The key to this is make sure yout heat gun/hair dryer is in front of your bat/metal following the direction of rolling so the paint won't crack.

Test drive it and usually from regular street turning to my residential area my tire rubbed pretty bad on 25 miles/hour even by my self. Now with 2 more passanger running 35 no rubbing ... Thank u for this great DIY.
