350z H-Tech rear gap

Has anyone with 350z Tein H-Techs noticed a good size gap in the rear? I have these installed on my coupe with 20x10.5 in the rear and the gap looks huge... what do you suggest??? Should i change out my rear springs to S-Techs? Thanks

I've been waiting over a year and they still haven't settled
You can try cutting the rear upper boots if you like.

The rears on the H-Techs are like stock. Almost no height difference

99CL looks like you got your GT-Forces... looks HOT !!! Dang man you got your wheels before i did LOL ... Like everyone said... let it settle for a while... but dont cut anything... if it comes down to you still not liking it after a few weeks just get another set of springs... someone will buy your Htechs

How much rear wheel gap do you have? I just had the H-techs installed this weekend. Right away, I noticed the fronts had a noticable drop. The rears maybe 1/2" but will need to wait for them to settle and have an alignment.

The offsets of the OEM 19" are pretty well tucked into the fenders. It may help to hide some of the wheel gap. With wider aftermarket rims almost flush with the fenders, you may consider a 1" or more drop to "look" better. I went with the 350Z H-techs since I don't want to change out shocks and have to get a camber kit right now. That and I have to clear my driveway. Anything lower than 1" will cause me to scrap. After the alignment, many here with H-techs say you can get it back close to factory specs without a camber kit. It's up to you to decide but going lower may require a camber kit.

Go with the S-Techs instead; this will give you an add'l .4mm drop. I had the H-Techs and switched out to S-Techs; much better stance and only 1 finger of clearance. I did have to cut the fenders though with 20 x 10.5 rims +29mm offset and 285/30/20 Michelins.

I dont understand when people said that they got it close to factory spec withOUT camber kit, which spec is this? Theres no camber adjustment on the front or rears. So what kind of adjustment is there to GET it close? Im pretty sure its just the toe that can be dial, other than that its basically the drop is in the range of spec and they consider that " I got it close to spec???"

sorry for off topic

^^I'll find out in a week or so if an alignment without any camber kit can be adjusted back to stock spec.

You have to remember, H Techs only lower your ride approx. 1/2 an inch. The reason people recommend going with Z H Techs is because of a stiffer spring rate. The S Techs will lower your car about an inch all around. If you don't like the gap, get the S Techs.
