SS brake line diy wanted
I'll give you a little bit of advice that would have saved me a whole bunch of time had I known before. When you are trying to connect the ss line to the chasis hard line, do so without locking in the ss line. This way you have some wiggle room to angle the ss line so that you can connect it to the hard line easily. I was dumb and decided to lock the ss line into the bracket that is welded onto the chasis. I also clipped the two prong metal tab on as well. When I went to connect it to the hard line I couldn't because the angle was off and the nut wouldn't screw in. I probably spent a good 5 minutes struggling before realizing what I was doing wrong.

The pressure is therefore exerted more directly on the caliper giving better control & feel.
