I picked up a set these lug nuts in black size 12 x 1.25 (which is the standard for Nissan's)



They are quite short, but seem to fit through my Volk GT-C lug holes. Anyone using these lug nuts? I'm putting on new tires Friday so I will try them on then. Do you guys think they will fit with them being so short?

they look like open end lugs, if that's the case it'll work even if it's short since the stud will simply stick out.

Hey bro. I bought the same exact ones on g35parts.com and thought that would look cool on my black wheels but everyone I spoke to about them (a few guys at different wheel shops locally) did not recommend them. They all said they are very thin walled unlike a regular lug nut and that I would have problems with them cracking. I returned mine. Hope that helps.

I've ran these lug nuts very hard on my last car for 20,000 miles without any issues. No rusting, cracking, etc.

Any other suggestions for aftermarket wheel lugs? The reason I purchased these is that the adapter they come with helps to ensure that you don't scratch your wheels.

I'm not going to be tracking my car with these on nor pushing it to its limit. I think I'll be fine; I just needed lugs with a key as the ones I have are starting to rust.

Well, I'll try them out for a bit and see how they do. If they don't work out, no big deal... they were only $35 bucks.

if you could afford big baller wheels, you should be able to afford big baller lug nuts (rays) .

Rays are purely cosmetic lug nuts and don't provide any advantage over standard lug nuts. I may be a "baller," but I choose to spend my money wisely.

Not sure if you've had the RAYS before, but I can highly recommend them.

I'm not sure about cosmetic reasons (they only come in 3 colours), but they are extremely light and durable. I've had it on my previous 2 rides, once on OZ Superleggeras and once on Gram Lights 57C.

Other *** brands you could consider are Work and Buddyclub. But I've found their prices are quite similar to each other.

But you're right, they are not the cheapest, but I can vouch for its quality.

Turns out these lug nuts don't fit properly. I guess I'll give in and go for a set of Rays. They offer an extended version now. What do you think?

After a little research, it looks like Rays sells special lug nuts just for the GT-C's However, I have not found any retailer who carries them yet.

rays lug nuts aren't ordinary at all. they provide strength, and weight saving over ordinary lugs.

I have never had a problem with them rusting like someone stated, and the lugs themselves are fine. But the key is very thin and cracks very easily...

If you must have open ended tuner lugs and don't want anything like Buddy Clubs or Ray's, I would suggest Muteki lug nuts...

I hhave used them for many years now and have never had any problems at all. I would recommend them with my experiences, but who knows, sounds like other people object. I'll keep using them, use them on all my cars.
