Angry WTF? Aligment topic

ok i took my G to get an alignment and w/e the shop did the alignment and when i was driving above 80 the steering wheels begin to shake....i was so f****n mad i drove back, those MF were closed already of course....and also the G still pulls to the right...theyre gonna get a piece of my mind....they took it on two test drives and they could not see it still pulls to the right, i swear they dont get it right the third time they better refund my money or theyre gonna meet a sue happy MF....Sorry guys i just hate paying for BS jobs....Mechanics get paid to do a job, dammit is it that hard to follow simple procedure....bastards.....just venting...
Question guys....anybody knows a good reputable shop to get an alignment for the G that actually knows how to do the job right....i dont want to take it to firestone, those people rip me off to many times and they are forever telling me i need additional work...for example i took my ex's Mustang for oil change and the car had like 11K miles on it, and they said i needed alignment, coolant change and transmission flush...i was like WTF are you kidding...who are you trying to kid? you knwo they got the finger...

Make sure you get the spec sheet from the alignment machine before you leave so that you can see what changes if any were made. By the way, at 80 my G will drift to the right as well in the right lane. This is after I had the TSB done.

sorry to hear that man. I actually took my G in to get an alignment done on saturday but after sitting in the lobby and scoping out the garage for about 30mins, I ask for my keys and took off. For some reason my gut was telling me to get out of there. Don't want to get into details it was just not a good situation. I'm venting a bit too....hope everything works out for you.

You might have better luck with your local dealer. That's where I have had my 4 alignments done.

The shaking issue is probably more of a wheel balancing problem than alignment. Your alignment can be dead on, but if your wheels are out of balance your car will shake, especially at higher speeds. Could also be your tire wear. If your tires are cupped on the edges pretty badly it can make your car shake.

alignment itself will usually not cause abrupt vibration. if there is a problem,
you'll feel it a lower speeds.

as Destro said, have your wheels/tires rebalanced and make sure you're
lugs are tightened using the star pattern.

An alignment issue will not cause vibration. Tire issues will. If they are new tires, whoever mounted and balanced them didn't do a good job, or there is an internal problem with the tire.
