Question Brake Pad Change Help

I have searched for a step by step DIY brake pad change thread and cannot find it. Can someone point me in the direction?

I'm not sure if when changing the pads I can just push/compress the pistons back to fit the new thicker pads or will it mess up an ABS sensor. Some guy told me it might mess up a sensor. How do u compress the pistons back? Thanks for any help!!!!

slowly push the piston back in and you should be fine. You can use a C-clamp or a thin piece of wood and a wrench as a lever to push it back. Just go slow so you don't tear the rubber seal. To make it easier you can open the bleeder valve to release the pressure. But then you'll have to bleed the brakes after. You can push it back really slow and not have to open the bleeder valve, just take you time and push evenly so you don't get it hung up if it goes in crooked.
