Hawk pads

I'm buying new pads for the G, and I was going to get the Hawk Performance ceramic pads but I noticed they dont sell them for 04 6MT front wheels--am i missing something or do they not have ones that fit the brembos?

Do a search in the tech forums, theres alot of people that have them for the 04's which is the same as the 03's. Theres a website out there that has them pretty cheap.

I bought front & rear pads for my 04 6MT Coupe from Adam at Z-1 Performance....here's their home page.

http://www.z1auto.com/

Not only did Adam provide great customer service they had a great price too. The HPS pads are outstanding!!!!

Yeah I have tried a search and I looked through Hawks site as well as countless websites--nobody seems to sell Hawk Performance Ceramic (not HPS) for 2003-2004 6MT G35's (for Brembo Brakes). Should i just forget the ceramic and go HPS?

I have an an 03 6MT with Hawk HPS pads, and upgraded slotted rotors. They work great and stop on a dime. But they squeak real bad sometimes. Not always, but sometimes. Anybody experience this?

When I installed my HPS in my Brembo's, Adam @ Z1 told me how to 'bed' the pads. I followed his instructions (basically, perform 3 stops from 85-0 in a row) and my pads have never squeaked. Did you do this? Also, did you use any of that brake pad lubricant on the back of each pad?

I have the HPS pads with StopTech slotted rotors and have never had them squeak. The HPS pads need to get just a touch of heat in them to work really well but over all I am happy. They will stop on a dime.

I did not 'bed' the pads (Was not told to do so). As far as what was done for the install I have no clue. Stillen did the install while I was at work.
