is there a reason why you decided to go with those 18s? i personally would have kept the oem 19's...plus they are forged and made by rays.

umm... i believe when i had a 18" wheels my gap was around there.. give or take

 

Paying $1200 for new tires is just insane and I just didnt like the silver color with black interior and tint, plus everyone around here got the OEM 19's.

 

THe reason why you noticed a bigger gap is your actual rim size is smaller. The dealer is saying that you it's the same setup is true in a sense...You tires are bigger so you over all diameter from the center to the tires is the same so to them it's the same setup...Smaller rim with bigger tires is same diameter overall...19 inch rims will make the gap look smaller because you are looking at the rim in reference to the fender. Yes, it looks like an illusion...

 

well...according to the tire size calculator, his diameter is smaller by .1 inch by going with the 18s.

Your not getting the point...He's looking at it and the tire is black and the fender on the inside is black...So i looks like a better gap...

 

Are you sure those are 18? look on your tire and see if the tire size says 18"s

 

Yeah they are exactly 225/45ZR18 front tire 245/45ZR18 rear tire

 

You picture that you took is not being real fair...The 19s you took at an angle and the 18 you took direct horizontal...

Those Y rating is the speed rating and they handle 160 plus MPH...You just down graded on your tire and rims...Sorry bro..but just lowered it...
