the most cost effective way would be to just cut your stock springs.
since you have an 03 i see from your sig you could get a set of z springs that will lower about 3/4 of an inch. you could probably pick those up for like $50 they would be stiffer and shorter then what you have now. then you could cut those to make it even lower if you wanted.

if you want aftermarket the tein h tech will go about 3/4 of an inch. new they will run around 155. you can most likely find them cheaper used.

when buy tein springs though make sure to get the ones for the 350z because they are stiffer then stock. if you get the ones for the g35 they will be softer then stock.

when they do go out just buy someone elses stock shocks that they took off when either they went to coilovers or when they bought the tokico or the koni's
Yeah, but then you will have to re-install someone's else's used shocks...I should say about a year or more...They are going to go out faster then normal...

i know several people that have a lowered g for well over a year now and their shocks havent gone out.

your shocks are not goin to go out in a year just because the springs are shorter. they will over time but not in a year.

even if you are to buy someone elses used shocks and or springs it will still be a lot cheaper then buying new shocks or springs. i would rather buy someone's used shocks for 100 or less then pay 560 for tokico d specs or koni yellows. you would only need those if you are goin to track the car.

FYI, most AUTOZONE's have tools you can barrow, just put down a deposit and return the tool later for your deposit. I've barrowed a spring compressor and O2 sensor socket kit before with no propblems.

dream_g35, can you post some pics of your car lowered on Z H-Tech? I'm about to buy Z S-Tech and I'm worried it may be too low (grown too old to be driving side ways over bumps). do you have finger gaps from the tire and fender still? thanks.

Be warned, the sportlines will probably be really low. I have the prokit and it's over an inch of drop, probably closer to 1.5. I scrape quite a bit and I run 20's withg 35 series tires, wich raise the car slightly.

Eek Hmmmm... I want it pretty damn low (I figure if I'm spending all the money to correct the camber I might as well make a big drop).. it's supposed to be 1.6 in the front and 1.4 in the rear...
