Low-cost lowering of coupe.
Ok -- BEFORE I get flamed on the usual (Don't put cheap stuff on a luxury car, or search before posting etc.) just hear me out
I have an 03 coupe on 19's and am looking for a 1.25-1.5" drop. I don't want to spend a ton of money to do it as I'll only have the car for a couple years. What's the most affordable yet safe (in terms of suspension not squeeking etc) setup to run to get those results? I obviously want camber adjustments but at those rates do I need them on both the front AND rear? Would toe adjustments really be necessary?
If anyone has a low-cost setup they currently run that's working for them please post the following:
Spring brand/price
Camber brand/price
Toe brand/price
I'm curious what I can do for a good drop AND decent tire wear without breaking the bank~

If you go lower than one inch you will need camber's. Lots of brands out there, I don't know about toe though. I have seen many people on the forum put tein s techs and tein htech for the 350z. I have have espelir gt on right now and the drop is a little less than an inch after it settled.
Try a search and you will find lots of info on the forum. many people have just springs installed. good luck and post some pics of your before and after

i am wondering the same thing!!!
i'm have a set of 350z Eibach Pro Kit i want to put on the ride.
i have the same setup- 03 w/ 19s running on reguar springs.
along his lines...
should i put the pro kit 350z springs on? anyone know for sure how they lower on our cars? i heard that it lowers more than the G35 pro kit springs?!
either way, am i going to NEED a camber kit? or would it just be very wise so i dont wear out my nice tires?
or will i be ok with just the lower and not a camber
if not...its for sale

Spring brand/price - Eibach Prokit $250
Camber brand/price - 350EVO Front $900, Stillen Rear $450
Toe brand/price - Not needed
I also have Tokico D-specs - $550
If you install everything yourself, you will save quite a bit of money. I think my setup was pretty lowcost compared to some people with the $2,000 Coilover kits as well as all the camber adjustment kits. The camber kits will save you money on tires so they pay for itself over time. The stock struts will blowout quicker with lowering springs so you might as well do the struts while you are at it. I have read that there are camber kits that cost a lot less but I can't remember the name... I will post the link for you when I find it. But I DO remember that people said they squeak so I opted not to get those. I think it was called SPC or SBC or something.

Cheapest way is to just cut the springs. It will cost you $0 and a few hours in the garage sawing away. Hahaha. Just kidding.
I would just get some TEIN springs for under $200, SPC rear camber arms, and Cusco A-arms for front. This would be the cheapest way if you want it done right and with adjustability.

the front only suck if you get the old version.
my roommate has the new version on his car and they dont squeek at all
i have the old version cause i got used ones and they squeek. the difference is the new ones have a grease nipple that allow yo grease up the polly bushings.
for rear correction get the spc camber arms and toe bolt they are the cheapest and work the best.
the cheapest way to lower your car would be just cut your stock springs to the length you want
if you want aftermarkets springs pm with what you are looking for and ill see what i can get for you on a price
