ok recently my brakes have gone very annoying...the second i push the breaks its this high pitch annoying squeek...and when i turn and let off the brakes..u can still here it squeak still

would this be under warranty?..im going to call tmrw to ask but i wanna know now...

I have the same problem, it's embarassing when stopping at a traffic light with the loud screech. I believe the brake warranty is 3 years or 30k miles. But this only covers 2003-2004 vehicles. My G now has 25k, I've scheduled an appointment next Tuesday for a free inspection and hopefully changing the brakes for the 2nd time in 2 years.

 

Just got mine done yesterday. I have 23K miles. I got "lucky" because I was 2 days past 3 years, and they comped me for the replacement rotors and pads. For my style of driving they last about 7-8k miles before needing to be replaced :-(

I'm gonna start looking for new brakes so that when I hit 30K I can just have these things taken off completely and get some real brakes.
