About to purchase an 07 G35x Sedan with 94K for $8000. Comes with Infiniti extended warranty until 110k or April 2017. is it worth it?

1 accident on car - car was park and person bumped into front quarter panel, which matches accident report that was also supplied. Panel was replaced with oringal infiniti part. color matched.

So roughly 25k left on the miles or 1 year and 7 Months for the warranty.

*anything I should lookout for on the 07 G35x?

Maintenance records? Number of previous owners? If you have a big number of records and a small number of owners, that's a good sign that the car was cared for. The warranty is a bonus, for sure. It costs money to transfer the warranty...who will pay for that? If memory serves, it's about $150.

If it looks good and has good records, I think the $8K with some warranty left is fair.

 

Thanks - Elite Transfer is $50 per dealer. Dont have service records for the past few years, and needs new tires. 2 owner car, first was a lease and the second owner used it as family car with baby car seat.

if 8k is fair, what price would make this a good deal? $7?

 

Base model? Or loaded premium car with Navigation?

How well was it maintained? How well was it cared for?


Tough to say if the price if good based on what you posted. If you showed us pics of a ragged out base model, we'd say pass. If you showed pics of a pristine premium model we might say it's a good deal
