Rear coilover adjustment
Rear coilover adjustment
I just put my Stance coilovers on my new G and i was just curious if anyone else running coilovers has resolved the problem of having no access to the top of the strut in the rear. All the cars I have ever dealt with have the rear struts coming into the trunk but not on our G35's. I am considering making a hole in the enclosure (in the trunk) that houses the strut so I can get at the top of the strut without having to remove my suspension just to adjust it.
anyone?
no one else has experienced this problem? I can't seriuosly be the only one, unless in my haste to find the strut in the trunk I missed it some how but I'm pretty sure it's hidden. Any advice before I just start removing body panels!!
Yes I've run into this problem with my Tein coilovers. I just adjusted the dampening to my liking & plan on left it at that setting. I know it's hard to believe you cannot make adjustments from the inside.
Do a search, I've seen post something can be hooked up to the top of the strut, then some sort of the thick wire is run thru the panels & you can adjust from a **** attached to this wire (which is placed in an easy to access spot). Hope you get what I'm saying...
Good luck!
