springs

so i'm getting a lot of mixed answers on springs for my new 19's. i had stock 03 17's on and i want to lower it about an inch so that it doesn't look weird. i got people telling me either, i should get some used 350 z stock springs, or 350z tein h-tech, can anybody that dealt with the same problem answer me? thank you

I thought you hade the DF210s. Anyways, I just got the DF210's. They lower your G 1 1/2 inches in the front and 1 3/4 inches in the back. I had Tein S Techs on my 05 G and the Tanabe DF210's definitely give you a lower stance and have a much stiffer spring rate. I have no complaints about the S Techs I had on my 05 G but the Tanabes are in a whole different world.

Spring rates in LBS 308/353
Stiffer or softer then oem springs by F-2% R+3% (coupes without 19" wheels)

Tein S-tech G35 coupe 1.2"/.9" (fronts are progressive, rears are linear)
Spring rates in LBS 358/274
Stiffer or softer then oem springs by R+14% R-18% (coupes without 19" wheels)

Do you happen to have a picture of the front Tanabe spring springs before you installed them or even a picture of a front spring installed on the shock?

Sorry, I don't want to steal the thread but how's the ride quality of the NF compared to sport OEM?

I thought that getting only lowering springs ruins your suspension
