hotchkis or stillen
hotchkis or stillen
need to make a decision between these two sways and i just can't make up my damn mind.
when its all said and done im sure they both produce the same results with negligible differences between them.

brackets? if so, im sure you'll have no issues.
yeah the new hotchkis sways DO have the built in collars. no longer an issue.
and i'm about 99% sure that eibach sways are stillen sways. call stillen and ask them to be sure but that's what a stillen rep told me once. eibach literally buys stillen bars and brands them for eibach.

I have Stillen, but if I had the chance to do it over again, I'd probably go with Hotchkis. They're stiffer, better quality, thicker walls, and already come with bushings.

I have Stillen sways. The holes at the ends werent even centered! They were off more towards the side. Bad quality control. Hotchkis doesnt/didnt have collars, but they wont move, like what some people think. The only reason why they put collars on now (if they really did so) is just to make the customers happy.
to quote hotchkis website - "Bars now come with welded retaining rings."

I wanted Hotchkis but was about to go for Stillen because of the colar but got Eibach instead because they offered both. So far, I'm very happy.
But since Hotchkis now offers the upgraded version, I'd vote for it as well. I don't think Stillen comes with bushings.

i have hotchkis, and have had many problems with them. first off, the fact that they don't have collars make them shift around. i spend $50 on custom collars, which helped a bit. now, the end links have been knocking/clicking, i've had them replaced once, and they are clicking again... you can hear it when you're below 30, driving over small bumps... very annoying. also, stillen has better stiffness settings, more in tune with OEM - as in, you can set front/rear stiffness at the same ratio as the OEM are, just stiffer by N%; hotchkis is more unbalanced.
