ARC Strut Tower Installed! ! !

Well finally after a few months of waiting I got my ARC strut tower bar for the G from Injected Performance... Install took a little time, but all in all it was pretty easy... I have the MREV kit (5/16) and it had more than enough clearence... Took it out for a spin and notice that the front end felt much more stable... A nice mod to add to the Stillen sway bars... Here's some pics... The second photo shows that the bar is completly down and still fits the 5/16 spacer... That means there is room for the taller plenums... Enjoy

Could you do me a favor? Can you take a picture and post it of where the bar mounts to the top of the shock? A overhead and a bit to the side shot would really be great.

Whew, I'm glad someone finally got one. My VRT has been great, so much so that I have gotten used to it. I could never go back to stock. Hope you enjoy your's as much as I do mine.

Nice! Many of us have been waiting for someone to confirm the potential clearance issues with the plenum spacer.

Was it a straight up install? Could you please share with us some of the installation details?

Yea it will fit the 1/2 spacer... There is sooo much room... But when the bar is at the highest it does hit the roof of the hood... And the install of the actual bar was kinda hard... It's on a load which made it difficult to set the bar at my ideal height...

I'm pretty sure it would... 5/16 and 1/2 no problem... There's alot of room... But I'm not %100 ...
