If you can afford the hks exhaust, get yourself some coilovers. They will be your best bet as far as lasting since the shocks will be matched to the springs

So, the 350z H-Tech's isn't the way to go if you have Sport Suspension?

ok guys, after spending all day trying to figure out how to DIY my 350z tein...i finally got the 2 front springs on( was too lazy to do the rear)... the drop so far is moderate, which i like and ive not yet notice a difference in the ride quality...ill put on the rear next weekend even though it does'nt look bad at all how it is now...and by-the-way , its not that difficult to do,after you do the first one,the rest comes easy...taking off the rim was prob the hardest...

350z H Techs are awesome... lower the coupe around .8" in front, .4" in back... subtle, ride quality is stock, yet it got rid of the wheel gap... PM caskyline if your in SoCal for the install. I got them installed along with my stillen sways from him for a very, very good price. A+ work too. I'm finally satisfied with my coupe's handling

Yup.

Oh, I wanted to add that I got an alignment about 6 weeks after I got them installed and my rears were in line with OEM specs, but my fronts are slightly off... but I don't feel a camber kit is necessary. I may rotate the front tires L<->R at one pt tho just because.

I'm also very satisfied with the STillen sway bars, I have both front & rear. Set both to medium and it's perfect for my driving style. No squeaking (caskyline greased them up) and the collars are welded on.

Ok....so now i've been convinced to get the 350z H techs....Question about "bottoming out" has any one with these springs done that yet? I've had a slammed integra back in the days and man that was a pain in the *** having to "angle" up driveways and stuff....So anyone can please let me know i'd greatly appreciate it.

Oh another thing, stock shocks vs. aftermarket....of course the aftermarket are a no-brainer but how does it really affect the car? Is it a must? Or can you get a way with it? Not trying to take the cheap way out...Just trying to find out if in fact it's really needed. Thanks again for the input!!

I have the h-techs and I have to angle up some driveways, but I had to do that at stock height as well. I think almost any drop and you will have to be carefull with bottoming out etc, but it doesn't take very long to learn how to drive around with a lowered car. I've been going it for 6-7 years now and its become second nature

Wow... a lot of good information here.

On JCspeed the specs for my sedan on Tein Basic Coilovers are:
Infiniti G35 Sedan
FRONT: -2.50 / REAR: -1.10

**Sounds to me like I will definitely need a camber kit for this type of drop.

For the 350z Coilovers:
Nissan 350Z
FRONT: -1.0 / REAR: -0.80

**I don't think I will need a camber kit. Will this directly bolt in to a 06 G35 Sedan?

If you are planning to use the 350z coilovers, add 1" to the posted values. However, since they are coilovers you should be able to adjust your ride height to a level you like.
