Cusco Coils Question

Hey, i have a set of cusco zero-2s but one of the shocks are blown, i received a replacement shock for the coil from japan and am wondering if anyone knows how to install the new shock onto the base (the blue part) and also what tools would i need/the best way to do it. Im guessing the top plate and spring etc all have to come off. Thanks ahead of time!

Can you post a picture of what you were sent. Pretty sure I know the answer, but I need to see what they sent you to be sure.

You need to take the whole assembly apart and screw the insert back in. One of mine is making noise. Can you give me the contact to get a replacement.

Thanks..

What is the best way to do this (take apart the assembly)?, on the car, off the car?, what tools etc. Also what tool do i use to unscrew the insert from the base?, thanks for the help!, PM Z1 Performance on my350z forums, they should have info on how to reorder parts for the coils

You need to remove the complete assembly from the car. The rears are easy. The fronts are loaded with the springs. Basically you need to take the whole assemble apart(ie, the 12mm bolt on top, Pillowball mounts, bump stops, etc). Once you have all the upper parts apart. All you need to do is loose the locking nut that holds the lower casing in place. It should screw right out.
