wheel lean

Just put the stocks back on for Winter and noticed that the rear wheels, especially drivers side appear to be leaning slightly in from bottom to top (/0\). They may have been doing this with the Volks as well, but went unnoticed. Also where the wheel touches the hub, you can fit a fingernail.

Is it time for an alignment, is this normal, or should I be concerned about other issues?

1. Are you sure you torqued down all of the nuts to the proper torque settings?
2. Is your ride lowered?
3. If in doubt, go to a tire shop to ask. Maybe it is time for an alignment?

Not lowered.

My dad changed them for me. He used a torque wrench to torque all the nuts to 85.

When driving away my dad noticed that the wheel appeared to be leaning. I stopped at the local tire shop and they said it looks like it might be an alignment issue.

I wanted to make sure before I take the car in for an alignment or if it was normal.

our cars have negative camber (/0\). that's why we have inner tire feathering issues...i think it can be fixed with a camber kit...if it's only doing it a little it's

probably normal for our cars...if it's doing it alot it might be due to worn springs...get it checked out by a professional

Is there a reason for the negative camber, or is this a design flaw?
