Rotors & Pads

I know this has been posted before but I couldn't really find any good suggestions.
I am tired of the brake dust that comes off the stock barkes. I am looking for rotor & pad replacement suggestions that produce less dust (close to no dust). Thanks for all suggestions.

if ur replacing the rotos AND the brakes look into the stoptech stage 2 kits, it comes with 4 stoptech slot rotors and 4 pads of your choice (they give u some options) and brake lines and brake fluid, all for like <$900. Go to mynismo.com and look on there. Good deal if you're planning on changing everything. I just got my pads in, they're endless super street-S and if you want to order cryo treated rotors go to autoanything.com and buy it off there, i was gonna get those cryo treated but i cant i need my rotors now.

If you are sick of the dust then you need to switch to ceramic pads. Metalic pads are what come stock on the car and they make alot of dust, but from my understanding metallic pads stop faster than ceramic.

I would stick with the metallic ones if i were you!

A few members have switched to Hawk HPS (I think) pads with good results. Check mynismo.com or tirerack. I have the same issue. Brembo with stock pads get dirty in 5 miles after washing.

i hear the hawk pads are good for low dust/noise but not the best for stopping.

Ugh! Really? That's disappointing about the rear.....I am still looking for the right pad. 26,000 miles on the Brembo's with no real issues other than dust. I actually was considering ceramic from Tire Rack. Now I am confused.

I see that are many out there. Well I will look into these suggestions today sometime but I really appreciate the replies. The main reason I was asking about this, is because I didn't get to wash my G for 2 weeks and the dust was ridiculous.

Curious to know why the rotors woud make a difference in the amount of dust? Thought dust was determined by the type of pads...

It does not make much sense to me either but its the truth. My rear always have more dust and the front does most the stopping.??
