what do you recommend for coils?
hi everyone.. i recently installed the tanabe df springs and the ride has been a bit harsh for my taste. it seems like there's a couple of loose bounces. i'm looking for something not too bouncy and still allow you to take turns. it seems like the stock sport suspension shocks cant keep up with the springs or something. i'm looking at the tein basic, cs, and flex kits. please help me out here. thanks.

i was wondering if you can get it by tomorrow (saturday) and do an install as well? let me know i'm very interested.
FLEX on its softest setting is still MUCH more stiff than stock. It is no where close in comparison to stock.
BASIC is marginally stiffer than stock, but bearable. After a couple weeks you'll be used to it.

Tanabe NF210 Springs G35 COUPE progressive springs 1”/.6”
Spring rates in LBS 297/336
Softer then oem springs by F-5% R-21% (vs your 06MT coupe)
What your feeling is the effect of too much drop without suffecient spring stiffness to keep you off the bump stops. Meaning, your shocks aren't to blame at all other then being guilty of being too tall and having too much piston rod length (many coilovers have shorter dampners or feature adjustable dampner lengths).
For a little more the the CS setup you can go with HKS RS or LS+, though Basics would work too.

I went with Tokico D-Spec w/Hotchkis springs. How many of you really know how to properly tune a full coilover setup anyways, or drive hard enough to warrant the cost/loss of ride quality?
