what do you recommend for coils?

how much is the tein SS...is it a stiff ride?

The SS is softer than FLEX, stiffer than CS. BASIC is usually equivelant to SS on level 8 setting, so right in the middle. SS can be stiffer or softer than BASIC, but similar right in the middle.

SS is about a 2-3mo wait.

Is SS EDFC compatible? Is it a mono-tube or twin tube design?

To the OP, if you looking for something comfortable and high quality, look into KW V2's.

Yes, the SS is EDFC compatible. It is twin tube.

It seems like everyone is having problems with aftermarket springs being too soft for the G Coupe. In sufficent rates can be one of the reason why you are experiencing a bouncy ride. Definietly go with CS or HKS. Flex or SS are also good coilovers, but they might be too aggressive for daily use. That will be determine by the driver .
