Sport Tuned Suspension

I was wondering if there's a noticable difference between the standard suspension and the sport tuned suspension? I have driven both and couldn't tell. Yet since both were on 10 minute test drives, I didn't really push either car too hard.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's asked or is curious about this topic.

Re: Sport Tuned Suspension

The sport tuned suspension is noticeably firmer, though not as firm as this fine car deserves. When available, I would like to upgrade to a combination like I have on the NSX. Eibach/Bilstein. Soaks up bumps nicely and gives a much firmer ride under braking, acceleration and cornering.

Re: Sport Tuned Suspension

depends if u wanna pay the price or getting it soon or wait.

cuz in japan, there is the OEM blistein struts and springs (standard on GT8), Nismo strut, Impul's strut made by ohlins and the HKS Hipermax LS coilovers.

most of the local shops here in vancouver can get HKS product easily. but then it will require special order.

the easiest way is to find connections to japan, and get the parts there. the HKS shop and Nismo/Nissan dealer might have them instock.

i havnt got much info on these yet. wait for 1 week or 2, cuz then i'll get more info on them from the shop i always goto.

also, Blitz is releasing the Sachs dampers for the V35 in the near future.

Re: Sport Tuned Suspension

Thanks for the input PNut.

I was also thinking of swapping out the stock suspension with after market, yet the titanium trim inside looks too cool to pass up. I think the STS package will work for me for the meantime. I'll probably get a G35 in early spring, if not earlier.

Thanks again
