What's the deal...you new around here?
Coupe offsets range from the high 20's to the teens. 35 would be way too sunk in for me. That's like stock offsets. I have 20 offset on my car and it sits just the way I like it. 35 is for the sedan.

I think the word you're looking for is conservative.

if it's a really good deal, then a good set of spacers like project kics will do.

The wheels are 18x8.5 with +35 offset all around. The wheel offset calculator says:

Your new wheel will have the following chracteristics:
The clearance from strut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 11mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 1mm

Does this sound ok? I thought that the back wheels on the Coupe were different than the front.

Will I still need spacers?

(Silly question) Do tires come in .5 width sizes increments or is the same tire used for 18x8 and 18x8.5 applications?

an 8.5" wheel and a +35 offset will look terribly tucked. these wheels arent staggered?

Work in progress
2005 g35 sedan

I'm looking for some rims for my g35 sedan, I'm new and I'm not sure what sizes would work, would 18×8 and a 35mm offset look good? Or would it look sunked in?
