Exclamation HELP !!!! HAWK HPS BRAKE PADS for brembro brakes

I NEED HELP...Tried to install front and rear brake pads for my G35 w/brembro brakes with Hawk HPS Brake Pads and ran into a couple of problems.
1) I was able to install only 2 of the four front brake pads. For some reason 2 of them will not slide in. The Pad was catching on the edges of the caliper in the inside. I compared the size to the OEM pads and look maybe 1/16th or 1/8 larger on the edges (but to close) I tried the other two pads and the fit in easily...I tried to tapp it in with but it woudnt go ( I was also worried I couldnt pull them out to replace them later). What should I do; try to sand the edges or send it back???

2) I was able to install only 2 of the four rear brake pads. This is beacuse one of the pads had an unusual bubbles on the back of the pad. The bubble where material not pant so I couldnt just scratch it off. The bubles are about 1/16th itch thick...Look at the pics attached...I dont not want to put them on becuase Im worried the bubbles effect the piston pushing on the back of the pad. Causing the pad to push in not straight ( and causing possible squeek)... See the pics below and the links

Im supprised Hawks does not have some type of quality control to prevent any of this..I know alot of guys have bought Hawks with no problems...but I guess its my LUCK...Thanks for the future HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

i wouldn't really worry about the bubbles.

you have to squeeeeze the piston in with your fingers. it's a royal pain.

I just redid my hawks yesterday bc i forgot the squeal reducer and THEY NEED IT

the pistons slide back out pretty quickly if you don't get the pads in fast enough

I had similar fitment issues with my Hawk HP+ pads.

Just as the previous post said, you need to push the pistons all the way back in. I used a vice grip + cloth (to protect caliper) + old brake pad (use the pad to push on the piston) to really get the pistons moving. You can even unscrew the cap on the brake fluid reservoir to make it easier.

I also had to use a rubber mallet to tap the pads in place. The fronts needed more of a "tap" than rears.

Its not the piston thats getting in the way...I slid the pad in side ways to make sure of that and the other two pads fit also...so i think its the sides of that pads that are hitting ..
