Woah....alignment all screwy...help!!

Okay guys. I have a 2005 G35 that had the 19" stock whels but now have 19" Volk wheels. The fronts have OEM Z revised Springs and the rears have the OEM factory springs.

My last set of tires had some bad wear on the rear. So, I bought a new set for the rear and went to get a alignment and here are the "something is wrong" results:

Left Front:

Camber was -1.0; now -1.1
Caster was 4.9; now 4.9
Toe was -.10; now .02

Right Front:

Camber was -2.2; now -2.3
Caster was 8.5; now 8.5
Toe was -.06; now .02

Front Total Toe: was 1.16; now .04
Front Steer Ahead was -.02; now 0.0

Left Rear:

Camber was -2.4; now -2.0
Toe was .31; now .10

Right Rear:

Camber was -1.5; now -1.3
Toe was .42; now .06

Rear Total Toe was .73, now .16
Rear Thrust Angle was -.05; now .02

Obviously the front camber shows that something is wrong. -1.1 on one side and a -2.3.

What could it be? I was told putting in springs is rather easy and had Racing Zone out of Tampa install them.

What about the rear....-2 to -1.3 (L to R). That cant that good for tire wear.

Thanks for anyone who takes time to read this thing. I'm worried and need to get soemthing done about this. TIA

Jason

Looks like the toe adjustments changed some of your camber, the fronts aren't adjustable so you'll have to live with that, and the toe they did a good job of setting on the front. In the rear, the camber and toe are adjustable, so it looks like they improved your settings, but didn't take the time to even out both sides. This is likely because as the camber or toe is changed, it affects the other, making it difficult to get an exact toe and camber combination for each side to match. Other members have also noticed a difference between sides in their alignment without a good reason. I would talk to the shop and ask them to try to decrease the camber in the rear on the left side, or increase it on the right side so they match.

thanks red. I dont think the shop took their ime on this at all. Still a little worried about the ~1.5 degree difference in camber up front though.
