Another good coilover is KW.
Tein anything - sucks. I know too may drifters, road racers, and autox'ers that had them...and regreted going with them in the first place. Dont get me wrong...they're OK stuff. It's just something I would never recommend anyone to get. If you want to do something right...do it right the first time.

I thought I could bump this up rather then start a new thread.....
I'm in the same boat trying to decide which coils...I have been looking at KW V2
how are these? I have been looking and searching for a review but I cant find one
is there another coil I should consider?
and do they make the silkroads for out car or only the z?

What is your primary consideration for installing coilovers? Are you planning on tracking your car, improve handling, lowering, etc?
For myself, I wanted to enhance the handling performance over my existing aftermarket set-up for spirited weekend twisty runs . . . While attempting to maintain a certain ride quality as a daily driver, as well. Believe me, I was quite cautious in choosing a set-up, as I work in the San Francisco Downtown/Financial district, which is filled with pot holes, dips and bumps.
After much research/consideration and speaking with other local G members, I finally decided on the Tein Basic coilover. The said has met all of my expectations in what I was searching for.
Consider the selection process based on your needs and requirements. That said, hopefully, you will settled on a set-up which you will be really pleased with.
What you need, or what's "best" all depends on what you're looking for from your suspension. Do you track, autox, drift, drag, etc...? Is it a daily driver? Do you want height adjustability? Do you know how to properly adjust dampening/rebound settings (most people don't, despite what they tell themselves)? Just as important, what's your budget? You need to answer questions like that.
im trying to decide if i want to put the extra money out for the hks rs. i was considering tein basics. i just want to lower my g for the looks. i dont race. i dont autox or anything. i just dont want a nasty wheel gap.

off topic:

^^
I met her this past Saterday and the Xyloh, here in Hawaii. Tons of guys were shooting game at her, none of them gained her interest. My girlfriend introduced me to her...and I was like "who the hell is Jessie Burciaga?"
That pretty much explained why all those guys were around her.

You lucky bastard!!
OK. With all the suspension mentioned...know one mentioned JIC. Is it because of price? I was just wondering because I am looking at those since I heard its necessary to have suspension with camber adjustments to fit 20 X 10 in the rear of a sedan.
