Just installed Ferodo DS2500 brake pads
just dropped $300 for 4 ferodo ds2500 brake pads + install. i had hawk hps pads which absolutely sucked. they had no bite at all, but no brake dust. after 25,000 miles the fronts were more than half gone but the rears had a lot of material left. so i switched to ferodo ds2500 (i hear the OEM pads for my brembo 6mt are made by ferodo).
the ferodos bite much harder, but still not as good as OEMs. i'd be happy with them except they squeal like a b*tch. really noisy and its driving me crazy. be careful if you thinking about these pads, good bite, but very noisy.
if anyone has recommendations on fixing this (e.g. brake lubes? or hard bed-ins?), i'd like to hear your thoughts.

The DS2500 are known to be noisy so no surprise there.

Less compressible than other pads, giving it excellent pedal feel and good modulation. The average friction level of about 0.50 remains constant at any speed and at temperatures up to 1,000 °F, after which it falls off slowly. Frequently used in the rear in conjunction with Ferodo DS3000 in front.
