Thanks for the help guys.

I am leaning towards the coils now..

How much of a drop do they give? Is a camber kit necessary with them? Is the drop adjustable? How much is the average install?

amount of drop depends on which coils. camber kit is a good idea for all drops, no matter what. but it really depends on how much you drop it. all coils are height adjustable. avg install is about 150-225.

Would anyone happen to have any pics of drops on the Tein basics? If you show any pics, can you please put how much drop it has? thanks.

dont make the same mistake i did. i did springs at first tand then went coils. i wasted money on springs

its dropped on basics.

iirc, the rear is as far as it can go..the front still has a over an inch to go he says.

keep in ming you WILL need camber kits for this drop...

-3 all around...

I ordered the basics + camber kit today.

Will take pics when they're installed.

yes and no. only if the problem you want to be warrantied is caused by the mod that youve done.....

is there any word on the life span of basic coilovers?

do they last long?

should i ever worry about replacing them?

depends on where you live, but alot of people have issues with the coilover sleave siezing up due to corrosion, so you lose adjustment ability, but that can be an issue with coilovers in general
