initial braking too soft

i just started to notice that when i begin to slow down and pump the brakes, the second pump becomes A LOT stronger. like the first pump is just building pressure in the cylinder and on the next pump it's nice and primed. i usually like to pump my brakes if i'm slowing down faster and wondering if this is normal. fluid looks good and never had any brake issues and sitting at a little over 14k miles.

Sounds like maybe a master cylinder problem? Or maybe an air leak somewhere? If you are still under warranty, by all means have the dealer inspect the system fully. The problem you describe generally won't fix itself, and may even get worse. You don't want that to happen all of a sudden!

Could it be that you need to bleed the brakes?
