curious on Strut bars and sways

not sure how many of you all have taken your G to the track or autocross but having mine which is an 05 6mt that according to the list of options the car came with was the "sport tune suspension" - I notice there is a great amount of body roll and lean when I'm out on the track going through 180's and slaloms - I would like an opinion from you guys on which strut bar or sways to get, I've searched around the forums and read a lot of negatives on certain sway bars, like they tend to crack or don't hold up at all- has anyone had problems before?? also on the strut bars, I missed the group buy for the richies- but I'll problem get it some how some way- also has anyone purchased the Stillen rear strut bar? I've seen it on their website but haven't seen any pictures of it on an actual G, thanks for the info guys!!

You have limited choices for front strut bars:
ARC, VRT, or richie (ARC Aluminum Replica).
The stillen rear strut bar will limit the already limited trunk space and will have approximately the same effects as a front strut bar.
you should read the reviews for richie's. personally i think it made an appreciable difference for daily driving so for the track you'll definitely reduce body flex in corners.
Richie's is the cheapest by far.
For sways. the new Hotchkis and Stillen seem to be the most popular. They have the collars built in. I have never heard of sways cracking or failing.
However, I have read that the endlinks will fail if you have aftermarket sway bars.
There is a sway bar sticky that compares all the sways available.
Personally I'm leaning towards Hotchkis sways.
You should also look into the GTSpec chassis braces to stiffen up the ride.

g35 "sport tuned" suspension (springs, shocks, and anti-sway bars) is too soft for tracking/autocrossing.... get aftermarket springs, shocks, anti-sway bars, and strut tower brace and driving will be improved.

heck even the 350z springs paired with the d-specs and stillen sways made a huge difference compared to my stock "sport" suspension. No more lean and roll on them 270 degree onramp loops....

i just awaiting the richie strut bar in the mail for improved ride.

I just recently installed the Richie FSB and it made a noticeable difference. Ive go the new Hotchkis sways next to me right now that will be installed tonight. Ive also got Tein 350Z H-tech springs that I plan to replace with Tein Basic coilovers in the near future. I havent tracked my car yet but I do plan to in the coming months, hopefully with these suspension mods, my car will be able to keep up with the others at the track.

Sways will help your body roll a lot.

I like the Richie strut bar and noticed a little performance gains but it is more for looks IMO.

Cool

A good set of adjustable sways like Stillen or Hotchkis will make an incredible difference!

I did the whole thing in CF but decided to paint part of it to blend better.

Sways are definitely worth the money. After less than 24 hours of having them installed, I can confidently say that the car is more stable and firmer through turns. Body roll is much less than before too. Sways are well worth the money

cochinogato,
Most all of this advise in these comments are good.
I have more track time in these G's and Z's than probably anyone here. I have tried almost all suspension components available today for these cars (and some not yet available ) I test alot of suspension components for a few aftermarket companies. I also am the first one to develope and implament the first working front strut tower brace for these cars and produce them for sale to the public. So feel free to PM me if you need any other advise about your cars suspension, or anything else that you can think of. Welcome to the forums, I am always willing to help out a fellow G enthusiest....especially one that will actually go to a track with their car.
