Springs for sedans
New at this forum and to this car. I have a 03 G35 sedan and want to buy some wheels and maybe drop it. I search this forum and keep seeing "unrevized z springs" come up a lot. Im confused what does that mean. Do the z springs fit our cars and if so what year and how do i get them. im looking for a small drop without maybe even changing the struts. Any info???

Z springs fit our car but you have to find an 03-04.5 Z. that is a Unrevized spring. it will drop your car 1" from my understanding. and 05-up is revized spring the different is the spring rate. revized is stiffer and will mess up our shocks. The best thing to do is Buy the hole stock Z setup. springs&shocks. go to the black market there is always Z stuff there. and if not there then "My350Z.com" thats the best advice I can give you.

Do you have the sport suspension? If so, all you need are the 350Z springs from the years mentioned above to keep the same spring rates. It is the shocks, not springs, that are revised on the 350Z. This change reduced the bounciness noticed from the unrevised shocks. If you do not have the sport suspension, you will need springs and shocks. The drop is 1 inch in front and 1/2 in back. If you want a smaller drop, you could use G35 coupe springs and shocks.
You should not have any need for camber kits since an alignment job can get it into shape using the coupe specs.

Simply being within specs doesn't guarantee that the car is properly aligned to prevent abnormal tire wear. Alignment specs are broad. To get good tire wear results, you will likely need a camber kit, since there is no adjustability up front and very little in the back. I believe that for each inch in drop, camber decreases by .8 of a degree.
