BBK few questions
a couple questions the FAQ on arizona Z car does not answer. Im going with the 13 inch it b/c I guess the 14" really isnt that much of an improvement regarding city driving w/e im just looking for lightweight + anything better than stock etc etc etc etc looks looks looks blah blah blah. ok questions
1) How do these BBK's (specifically the Wilwoods) hold up to snow and other winter conditions
2) Arizona Z car says they dun give you a parking brake in the rear!!! I have AT, but I heart my parking brake!!! are there other kits that come with one? or should I just carry a wheel chock with me everywhere.
thanks guys. everything is busy right now - so I cant promise you a purchase + install pics until spring time.

Hi,
#1, the kits are great in winter time. I have not had any problems with my kit in the snow, etc.
#2, yes the racingbrake kits keep the parking brake. I have a 6MT with remote start and NEED a good parking brake. I have their 4-pot front kit and oem caliper 13" rear with no problems, even on my steep driveway.

I'm not sure what the hydro line lock is. The standard G/Z parking brake is a drum inside the rear brake that holds it.

great - ill get em as soon as I straighten my chassis
the hydraulic line replaces the parking brake cable to the rear drum. It has to be fished to the front so you can engage it when needed. call Dave at Arizona and ask him to explain what's involved then you can figure out the cost for the install. I would highly recommend you get a qualified mechanic shop to do this for you.

cept for the bleeding.. I will also send the G for the parking brake fishing as well. unless the necc instructions are provided. mechanics are always my last resort
A line lock basically works by keeping pressure on the brakes. You apply the brakes, then flip the switch, which activates a solenoid holding pressure on the braking system. Generally one end or the other. Drag racers have been using them for years.

1, No problem with Snow with wilwood BBK, I am in Miane full time.
2, Many people leave the rear brake alone, it's even more useless upgrade than the Front as fat as street driving goes.
The rear OE set up is much lighter than front, so you won't even have weight savings, probably wind up gaining weight in-exchange of just for looks.
