Question OEM 350z Springs?

Ok, I heard that read/heard that the OEM 350z springs would give a G a nice lil drop. I did the search and did my reading and just got more confused. lol So now I gotta ask and Im sure you guys could tell me right off what I'll need. All that reading about color dots and revised/unrevised springs and sport suspension just made me feel like dis guy >

I have an 03 6MT. What Z springs should I be looking for? I was on My350z and it looks like everyone over there is trying to get rid of these and it seems like most of em are in So CaL too! Help a fellow G Driver Please.

Thanx Guys,

FLiP

If you have an 03-04 sedan with the sport package, then Z springs are nice mod if you want increased handling but similar ride comort. You need the sport pkg because they use the same shocks as the Z so the springs and shocks match up perfectly. This will give around a 1" drop and a more aggresive stance.

For an 03-04 sedan you need to get "unrevised" springs from an 03-04.5 Z. After 04.5, they changed (revised) the springs because people were complaining the Z's ride was too bumpy.

On the coupe, the drop is going to be less than 1/2" all around and barely even noticeable, thats why most people don't go through the trouble

you can get unrevised 350z springs or revised 350z dampers + springs for around 1/2" drop, give or take.

I did it to my 06 6mt coupe.. I used revised springs because i have the sport suspension package on 05-07 coupes.. but for your 03 6mt use the unrevised because they have the same spring rates as your OEM ones.

As for looks.. I only noticed a drop in the front for my car. Which is fine because i always thought the G35 coupes fronts had too much gap. It pretty much looks even w/ the gap in the front and back about the same.. You cant tell i lowered my car.. but now it looks like how G35's "SHOULD" look.. I will post up some pictures soon.. soo look out for them...

I suggest going another route. I have unrevised Z springs which I will be swapping out shortly. The front drop was perfect for me but the rear sucks IMO.

Runnin 20's

I want a minimal drop cuz Im running Axis Matrix in 20's. Actually I wouldn't mind dropping it more then an inch but that will give me rubbing problems? I have 280/30/20 in the rear and 255/35/20 in the front. Anyone know how much I can drop it be4 I gotta roll fenders
