I went to no less than four different places and they all said $400. That sucks, so I'll do it myself.

if i had all the proper tools to DIY i would, but by the time i purchased everything it would probably cost me more than the install. i think i miss my jack stands and hydraulic jack more than anything else i lost in hurricane katrina

Have you gotten the Basics yet?

If so, did you install them yourself?

I do not like the idea of paying $300+ for coilover installating.

Really nothing to purchase, you SHOULD already have the end wrenches and the only tool you need to get is a spring compressor which you can BORROW at most autoparts stores.

The jacks and jack stands don't cost that much even if you have to buy them. In fact Wally World had a set with a floor jack and two stands for less than $50.

$200 for removal of non-sport suspension, removal of 350Z springs from the shocks and mount on sport-sedan susp., andmounting and balancing new tires. The scratched up lug holes on my new rims were free.
