Today as I was driving I noticed that my brakes were making this grinding noise. I figured out that the noise is coming from the rear brakes. It is a grinding noise with some squeeking. Should i replace my pads (had them replaced last summer sometime)? If i do need my pads replaced should i go with Hawk or Mu (red or green)? Thanks for the help guys.

 

You need new pads, unlike the other cars I have had the infiniti pads don't screech when you get to the wear tab they grid and rub l;Ike a swooshing noise. I changed my pads this past weekend and the noise is gone. i would also recommend getting your rotors turned while you are changing pads also.
