new a-arms- 350evo--help

hey guys, so now that ive discovered my spc front a-arms are poorly made to say the least Im going to purchase 350evo a-arms

my car is currently dropped .2" off my front tire so my question is will the 350evo a-arm be able to achieve camber in the "green" with my car dropped that low?

also, anyone else with RAS dropped theyre car this much before?
any negatives with doing this?

thanks guys, I appreciate it

The 350Evo arms should work well for you. I have a 1"drop in front and I had to use a fraction of the adjustability they offer.

best thing to do is:

go get an alignment to see how far outta spec you are first.

350evo a-arms allow for:

appox +1/-3 degrees
adjustment

Front Caster is not adjustable.

What's the problem with the SPC A-arms?

i'd wait for the revised SPC a-arms before spending 7-8 bills on the 350evo arms. They are only +1 adjustable so if you're camber is anything over -2.5 up front then it's not going back into spec.

My guess is the problem with your SPC arms lies in the install since you are only dropped 1". See if the spacers were installed and remove those, and check all the sensors before switching out to the 350evo arms

i may be misinterpreting his post, but .2" above the tire sounds like it's more than a 1" drop. according to scootch, he's dropped about 2"

thats probably right,I was doing the math quickly in my head and came up with a quick number. I didn't measure my h-techs, but everyone claims ~.8" drop in the front, and I have ~.7" clearance between my tire/fender so his drop is likely anywhere from 1.3-2"

i agree with grant. wait for these. they should allow for up to +3 adjustability i believe.

yeh, most people that didn't install the spacers saw no problems. with tein basics and a mild drop, you should probably be okay - so you may want to consider raising it a lil bit. the problems seem to occur with springs/coils with softer spring rates/aggressive drops. the basics aren't that soft...but your drop may be causing these problems. call thmotorsports and ask them if you got the ones with the new locking nuts.

The 350z evo arms only allow for +1 camber adjustment. So they should be able to put you within factory spec.

just to carify, I am dropped a little less than 2" resulting in .02" above the wheels.

i honestly dont even want to deal with spc a-arms at this time and I dont mind dropping $800 on 350evo a-arms so long that I can keep my car dropped this low and remain somewhat in factory specs

now from what I just read, correct me if im wrong, I am not able to leave my car .02" above the wheels (roughly 2 inch drop) with the 350evo a-arms?

ughh lowest price i can find on them anyways is $850 which is more than the tein basics

you guys suggest I wait.. in your opinions, how long do you think this wait could be?

reason i ask is because my car isnt drivable right now from what im told since all those lights are on and theres a possibility lets say for example my ABS could suddenly turn on while going down the highway

just to reiterate the lights that are on are:

-check engine
-abs
-SLIP
-VDC OFF
-RAS
