I need to know if 06 coupe calipers and rotors are a direct bolt on for a 04 5at coupe? Do I have to mod anything for them to fit?

I have a friend selling his since he has a BBK on his car now. I know the 05-06 rotors and calipers are larger than the 03-04 coupes. Thanks.

 

I know a bunch of people that said they did this mod. They said it's a direct fit, but you need to get new caliper-brackets, because the old ones aren't long enough to clear the larger rotors.

Not sure if your spare tire will still work....

 

yo D! they'll bolt up just fine, make sure you get the bracket with the caliper too and you're set. They're waaaaay better than the 03-04 brakes too.

The mounts are part of the calipers, so just change out the entire 04 calipers, pads, AND rotors with the 06 parts.

 

Do you happen to know the weight diff inbetween the smaller 11.x" early rotors and the later 12.6" (?) 05+ rotors?? Seems like a great mod but I wanted to know the weight price of admission.
