Coilover suspension

I've tried searching but didn't get the answers I was looking for... Is there anyone on here that's running coilover suspension, specifically the JIC FLT-A2-VIP series on their sedan? I just picked up a 06 5AT sedan a couple weeks ago and was looking into lowering my car. I want to use coilover suspension for adjustability reasons. Plus from the looking at other member's rides, running drop spring will not give me the height I want. A friend of mine is running the JIC coilovers on his Lexus LS400 and the ride is pretty smooth, which is why I'm leaning more towards the JIC's than anything else. If you're running fully adjustable coilover suspension...What brand are you running? How's the ride? Did you run into any problems? Lastly, do you have any pics?

I have Tein CS Coilovers with the EDFC.

Ride is awesome and I can crank them up for via the EDFC for those times I want more. If I am going to take it on a hard mountain drive I also get under there and harden up my sway bars.

I was actually looking into picking up a set of the CS's, but wasn't too sure if it was a fully threaded shock body. I plan on slamming mine for the "VIP look" and I don't want to lose the performance of the strut from it bottoming out. A friend of mine had a set of the CS's on his Lexus LS400 and his wasn't a fully threaded shock. Plus it wouldn't let him slam his without risk of blowing the shock. He switched to the JIC FLT-A2-VIP series, which are fully threaded, and said that they perform a lot better. From past experiences, I haven't had too much luck with Tein which is why I'm leaning more towards JIC. I've had perches jam and the adjusting **** for the dampening get stuck. I don't mind spending the extra cash to get a better product.

BTW, Is the CS a fully threaded shock front and rear? How is the rear setup? Is it an actual coilover strut or does it use the stock spring mounting points and use spring on coilover perch? Would you happen to have any pics of your setup? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure I'm making the right decision. I know I'm bound to run into problems down the line, just don't want to run into too many of them.

TEIN parts are more "user friendly" type of suspension setups. However, if you look across the board.. you're going to get that more people would rather have TEIN than anything else. Because of the fact that they're user friendly.

For competition there are the higher competition series from TEIN.. but I would rather go with JIC. Daily driver.. I think TEINs are fine.

However, I just read your last post and it seems that you're looking for the VIP look. I actually suggest to just get AIR RUNNER suspension. They're basically like bags. Look up JDBinspired.. he's at the direction you're heading towards. Good luck

Well I wanted the look without having to go with a air bag type setup. Plus I still wanted to hang turns and I'm not sure what kind of performce I'd get out of the air runner suspension. I guess my main concern would be if it's a fully threaded shock. I'm looking for a fully threaded shock because of the added height adjustment.
