I keep hearing squeeling from my brakes whenever I come to a short stop.
The guy tells me my brakes are perfectly fine and I don't need new ones.
I'm wondering what do I use to stop the squeaking, it's annoying and the guy was telling me its because of overheat?
What should I do?

This is a known problem with Infiniti's brakes. They squeal when they're brand new

So let me get this straight, the mechanic must be BSing you because he didn't do unecessary repairs and take your money Originally Posted by nchima

The pad ears are vibrating and when the ears of the pads touch the caliper housings, they make a sound like a squeal. You either have to apply some brake quiet to the pad backs or some grease to the pad EARS. Not the pad surface!
