I'm looking to get some cross drilled/slotted rotors for my 2005 G coupe, but it seems like there are 2 sizes made for that year...I looked on ebay, and some companies listed 03-04, and some listed 03-05. I wrote one guy and he said after August, they started using the larger rotors. So I called up a dealership in Van Nuy, and the guy told me they're all the same size...Then I made him look, and he then he said "OH, after eight of 05, they used the new rotors." So I asked him, after "AUGUST of 05???", and he said no, "after eight of 05, October of 05"...so I was like, ummmm..this is is a dumb*ss, cuz 8 is August...so I asked him, so he's saying October of 2005? and he said , YES...then I asked, "wouldn't October of 05 be a 2006 model?", and he said YES and he's now all confused....

can someone shed some light???

just look at your calipers and rotors to see which size you have. The larger rotors have a larger front caliper with dual pistons and an "m" shape to the front, while the older calipers are single piston and "n" shaped

the only '05 G35s (coupe and sedan) with the older, smaller brakes were the G35X sedans. all other coupes and sedans have the larger 12.6" rotors w/ 2 piston calipers up front and 12.0" rear rotors w/ single piston calipers.
