Suspension masters. . .question for you.

I finally got my set of Tanabe Sustec Pro SEVENs but I'm wondering if they sent me the wrong ones. The upper mounts on the coilovers are like massive cups instead of flat triangular plates. It is possible that I'm just an idiot, but I haven't seen ANY G coilovers with upper mounts that look like this. I'll post pictures later, but for now, you'll just have to go by my description. Thanks for any help.

Andrew, is the pro7 a true coilover setup or a seperated spring shock combo in the rear? do the springs mount over the top of the shock in the rear or are they seperated?

The rear are separate spring/shocks. They look correct, and by "look" I mean look like all the other suspension kits I've seen for the G and Z. The damper upper mount for the rear does have the flat "football" shaped upper mount. The fronts are coilovers, but instead of having the flat upper mount like most systems, it looks like a large cup. . .about 4 inches deep. The main reason for my concern is that the actuators for the electronic control have a wire that sticks out pretty far that I don't want to bend into a high stress angle (90*ish) and possible damage it.
