springs and offset question
springs and offset question
So I have an 05 coupe with the oem 19's and it's time to get some new rims since my tires are almost done
I've tried searching, but most people get 19 x 10.5 and the dimensions i want are:
19 x 9 f +17 and 19 x 10 +19 volk sf winnings
and planning on getting 255/35/19 front, and 275/35/19 rear
for the drop I'm debating between the Tokico dspec spring package for the 350z(DSK512) or tein CS w/ edfc
It's a daily driver, but I plan on tracking it a couple of times
Would I rub with those tires and offsets if i'm dropped on the dspec spring package?
thanks in advance for the responses

the rear offsets are about as aggressive as you can get, and even with the stretch tire you have, there will be rubbing under compression, which WILL occur at the track. Get the rear fenders rolled, its as simple as that

The only bad thing that can happen when you roll your fender is it may crack the paint inside the fender if not done correctly, but if heated correctly and rolled slowly, the paint won't crack. I did it on mine myself without any cracking issues
thanks redlude for schooling me on this
everyone tells me that rolling fenders are bad, but they never give me an answer to why
Would you think +19 f and +22 would have rubbing issues?

if i'm going to be dropped on the tokico dspec spring and shocks package and I plan on getting 275/30/19 in the rear
or should i go with 265/35/19?
I see that you're dropped on 350z htech's, did you change to different shocks?

i've pretty much decided i'm going to roll my rear fenders and that volks only come in half sizes
and i asked a local shop about rolling fenders for:
19x9.5 +19 f and 19x10.5 +17 r
I will just need to roll them and not have to cut the fenders on the rear w/ a 275/35/19 tire correct? Also is it best to roll fenders before i get my rims and tires installed?

Rolling and cutting serves the same purpose, so you only have to do one or the other, not both. I recommend rolling, and you should stick to 275/35/19 or even 285/35/19 since you are rolling anyways

You totally lost me there....
